From the outside,
it looked full

For years, my life looked full from the outside. I had built a career, led teams, opened and rebuilt businesses, lived on both coasts and overseas. From where most people stood, I had it together.

Inside, I was searching. And underneath the searching was a truth I had spent a long time not facing: I had a problem with alcohol.

Naming it was the hardest and most honest thing I had done. It was also the beginning of everything that came after.

What helped me rebuild

What helped me rebuild was not willpower, and it was not a plan. It was willingness — the willingness to stop pretending I could do it alone, and to let myself be helped. I found my way into recovery. And through recovery, the relationship I had always had with God became a personal one — present in my daily life in a way it had never been before.

That changed how I understood my whole life. I learned that I was not meant to control everything on my own. I learned to trust a process I could not see the end of. And I learned that real change does not arrive all at once — it is built, quietly, one honest step at a time.

Today I am in recovery, and grateful for it. I have been blessed with recovery and growth — and with a steadier, simpler, more honest way of living than I knew was possible.

A winding path through a blooming forest — beginning again

I lived my way
into the method

Everything I now offer as a coach, I first had to learn for myself. Awareness. Willingness. Trust. One clear step. Beginning from exactly where you are.

Believe. Trust. Build. is the distillation of that — a practical, spiritually grounded method for people who feel stuck in their own head and are ready for something to change. I did not invent it so much as live my way into it, and then shape it into something I could hand to someone else.

Humility, openness,
and trust

This work is grounded in a simple belief: we are not meant to carry everything alone. I believe there is something larger than myself, and that belief is the source of the humility this work runs on. Without it, I would have to assume I always know best — and I do not.

This is a perspective, not a requirement. The method does not ask you to hold any particular faith. It asks only that you stay open to the possibility that you do not have to do this by yourself.

A coaching method —
not therapy

I am not a therapist, and this work is not therapy or diagnosis. It is part coaching, part mentoring — coaching in its core posture, which is to draw your own answers out through awareness, questions, and honest reflection, and mentoring in what I bring with me from my own way through.

What I bring is two decades of building and leading in the real world, and — more than that — lived experience of becoming stuck and finding the way forward again. The method is shaped by that experience, by the mentors and teachers who helped me, and by ongoing study and reflection. I continue to learn, because this work asks me to keep growing too.

Before we ever speak

You are not uniquely broken.
You are human. You do not
have to do this alone.

I have begun again. I would be honored to help you begin too — from exactly where you are.
